Terms of Service

By accessing or using RenderOps located at renderops.tech("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.

RenderOps provides a browser-based email development and engineering platform including but not limited to: CSS inliners, MJML compilers, spam checkers, accessibility auditors, dark mode simulators, countdown timer generators, VML button builders, and ESP integration utilities.

The Service operates under two primary tiers:

• Free Tier: Provides free access to standard email development utilities without requiring an account or credit card.
• Pro Subscription: Provides unlimited access to advanced engineering tools, AI template generation, multi-client render previews, real-time edge widgets, and team collaboration capabilities.

To access certain features of the Pro plan, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Merchant of Record: Subscription billing and payments for RenderOps are processed by our authorized primary Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments). By purchasing a Pro subscription, you authorize our Merchant of Record to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis.

14-Day Free Pro Trial: New user accounts receive a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required to initiate a free trial. At the end of the trial period, your account automatically reverts to the Free Tier unless you explicitly upgrade to a paid Pro subscription.

Taxes: All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax). Applicable taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout by the Merchant of Record based on your geographic location.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account dashboard or billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of your current prepaid billing cycle. You will maintain full Pro access until the end of the paid period.

14-Day Refund Guarantee: We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for initial Pro subscription purchases. If you are dissatisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting legal@renderops.tech. Refunds requested after 14 days are granted at our sole discretion.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate, test, or distribute unsolicited commercial email (spam), phishing campaigns, or fraudulent materials.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of proprietary compilers or algorithms without express written permission.
• Resell, white-label, or sublicense access to the Service to third parties without a commercial partner agreement.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on our servers, edge endpoints, or network infrastructure.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or feature paywalls.

Your Content: You retain complete ownership of all HTML code, email templates, designs, and assets that you create or process using RenderOps. RenderOps claims no intellectual property rights over your templates or campaign materials.

Our Service: The Service, including software, design system, UI components, documentation, logos, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of RenderOps and protected by international intellectual property laws.

All client-side email tools (e.g. CSS inliner, spam word auditor, accessibility checker, table converter) process your HTML code 100% locally within your web browser session. Your email code is never uploaded or saved on our servers unless explicitly required for edge API processing (e.g. live countdown timers).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. RENDEROPS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RENDEROPS OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR MAXIMUM TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO RENDEROPS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved amicably, or submitted to binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
